at Brown University

Greetings everybody,

Regular on-campus singing is resuming Thursday, January 24, 2013 through May 2, 2013 (except during Spring Break March 28). We'll be singing in the same venue, the main-floor choral room of the Steinert Practice Center (at the corner of Hope & Power on the East Side). If you don't have Brown ID, you will need to come around to the handicapped ramp at the rear of the building to get access to the room. Class begins at 5 and regular singing will begin at 5:30. We hope for a good turnout to welcome new singers.

If you want to continue to receive messages about Brown Sacred Harp, you need to join our Google Group (visit
http://groups.google.com/group/brownsacredharp). When setting up your group membership, you should be sure to select one of the email options if you want to receive group postings that way. Otherwise you will have to visit the group's website to view new postings, and you won't receive any email notices that there are new postings available.

Local singers and out-of-town visitors are welcome to join us at any time. Here's a little more info about this singing for those who might want to attend:

I hope to see many of you at Brown soon, and will do my best to encourage these new student singers to attend off-campus singings as well.
