The most important thing to remember is that this is Rhode Island... "Little Rhody..." "The smallest of the forty-eight..." (when there were forty-eight). Nothing is far from anything. Drive 45 minutes in any direction from the singing and you're out of the state. CT is minutes away; MA is minutes away. Want to stay near the ocean? Newport, Middletown, Narragansett, Jamestown, Westerly... They're all about 30-40 minutes away...

The airport - T. F. Green/PVD - is in Warwick, not Providence. AMTRAK stations are in Kingston or Providence.

Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus #19 comes out from Providence to the Walmart on the Plainfield Pike/Route 14.  If you let us know a bit in advance, we can send someone out to pick you up at Walmart.  Bus schedules are available at www.ripta.com. Choose the following: and choose only the "bus operates via Plainfield" routes.
